What is a Lashers Tour you ask?
Many years ago, when we were all young men, 4 of us decided to spirit ourselves off to Spain to try a spot of golf in the sunshine and came back vowing that it most definitely ought to be an annual event and as such, involve as many like minded chaps as we could muster.
Of course alcohol had to play a large extent to the occasion as you couldn’t be on the Lash without alcohol being consumed. And so the Lashers Tour was born.
As most of us that go on these tours are of a similar ilk, it didn’t take much of a persuasion to get others to join us the original four of Big Al, Griffo, Malky and Westy:

As you can probably guess from most of these pictures, alcohol is usually consumed in copious quantities during the tour. But it’s not all about the booze. Oh no we do actually play some golf as well (although in my case that’s debatable) and manage to squeeze as many as 4 rounds in within the week or 3 over the weekend.
There have been some highs on the tour (Aphrodite Hills in Cyprus, Turkey <missed that one because of work>, Spain and Portugal) but some lows too (Tunisia) and along the way we have sadly lost some brilliant friends (Smudger and Slim - RIP you lovely boys) who made life that much more enjoyable and will be forever missed but we have new friends joining us all the time and most years we get a tour virgin along.
So to all 50+ different attendees that have graced us with their presence - Happy Lashing lads.
